Jeremy Neely is the author of The Border between Them: Violence and Reconciliation on the Kansas-Missouri Line, winner of the Kansas State Historical Society Edward Tihen Award.
In addition to studying the Civil War along the Kansas-Missouri border, his research interests include the 19th century American West, Reconstruction, and Populism. He is currently teaching American history at Missouri State University in Springfield.
